Terms & Conditions

 

This legal notice applies to all services and products provided by Martin Andrew Photography ("the Photographer") and you ("the Client"). By making a booking, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions. A signed copy must be returned before the session

1. Copyright and Ownership

 

• All photographs remain the copyright and intellectual property of the Photographer, Martin Andrew, in accordance with the Copyright and Designs Patent Act 1988.

 

•The Photographer must be credited as the author of the images whenever they are shared publicly.

 

•No editing, altering, filtering, cropping, or modifying of images is permitted unless written permission is granted by the Photographer. This includes screenshots or copies of images shared online.

 

•Images may only be shared on personal social media after they have been purchased. Posts must include the Photographer’s name and website.

 

•The Client will receive edited JPEG files only. RAW files will not be provided.

2. Fees, Deposits, and Payments

 

• A non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of signing the contract.

 

• The remaining balance is due immediately after the portrait session. Images will be delivered once full payment has been received.

 

• Introductory pricing:o1.5-hour session: £30 (includes consultation and photoshoot)oHalf-day session: £50 (includes consultation and photoshoot)

 

• Standard image quantities:o1.5-hour session: 15 edited imagesoHalf-day session: 25 edited images

 

• Additional images may be purchased at £5 per image.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

 

• A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

 

• Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the loss of the booking fee.

 

• The Photographer will make reasonable efforts to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.

4. Artistic Release and Editing

 

• The Client acknowledges that the Photographer’s artistic style, creative judgement, and editing decisions are final.

 

• The Photographer will deliver high-resolution edited JPEGs.

 

• RAW, unedited, or partially edited files will not be supplied.

 

• Images cannot be rejected on the basis of personal taste, style preference, or artistic interpretation.

5. Liability and Client Responsibilities

 

• Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the safety and behaviour of their children during the session.

 

• The Client agrees to provide accurate information, mood boards, and any necessary preparation prior to the session.

 

• Failure to cooperate, follow instructions, or arrive prepared may result in missed or lower-quality images, for which the Photographer is not liable.

 

• The session begins at the agreed start time. Late arrival will reduce the available shooting time and may affect the final results.
